Are you a new mother so consumed by the tasks of parenting that you feel almost unrecognizable to yourself?
Have you found yourself “overworking” as a mother, constantly doing yet feeling like you are spinning your wheels?
Do you feel stressed by all the perfectionist pressures around you, and want to find a way to do things differently?
Have you never really found work you loved, and so feel stuck, knowing you need to move in a new direction?
Certain transitions in motherhood are especially tough to brave alone, and motherself guidance can be particularly helpful at these transitions:
- pregnancy
- learning to be a mother in the newborn period and first year
- adjusting to changes in your marriage or relationship after having children
- having a second or more children
- stay-at-home moms trying to develop a new identity that includes but is not ALL mother
- learning to balance motherhood with work
- growing as a parent when children move on to the next stage (going to school for the first time, becoming teenagers, etc.)
My clients deal with different challenges, but they share a common desire to experience themselves as more authentic and alive in all the roles they play.
