As an experienced HR professional, I've spent over a decade supporting working women as they navigated major career transitions. From starting new jobs to starting families, I've coached women through personal branding, interview skills, negotiating compensation, planning for their maternity leaves, supporting their return to work, and tapping into their unique leadership strengths.
When it came time to start my own family things didn't "go to plan" and, as someone who had built a strong career reputation for planning and precision, this was a major 180 for me. Navigating my own path through infertility, miscarriage, pregnancy, maternity leave, and returning to work, I learned firsthand just how difficult it is to compartmentalize and manage these major life transitions all while managing your career.
This was the inspiration for (M)other Self. The realization that my own path to motherhood, coupled with my HR expertise and several years’ experience supporting other women, could equip me to make an even bigger impact.
The more I do this work the more I realize how sorely it’s needed, and the more passionate I become about the (M)other Self mission:
If you're a working woman emerging to motherhood and in search of support, I'd love to be your partner.
